he Rev. Barb Schmitz The Rev. Barb Schmitz is an Episcopal priest and an engaging preacher. Former diocesan staff for both the Episcopal and Lutheran Church, she has also served churches in New York, Nebraska, Michigan and Indiana. Rev. Schmitz is a graduate of Houghton College (NY) and Cornell University. She has written two books on preaching: Preaching to Myself (and other hints on how to preach great sermons 52 weeks a year) and The Life of Christ and the Death of a Loved One: Preaching the Funeral Homily, both by CSS Publishing. She currently is serving as the Interim Episcopal Chaplain to Cornell University. Back->
